Overview

enol is a voice-calling AI assistant for Android. This policy describes how the app handles your data.

Data Collected

• API keys — Your OpenAI and Inworld API keys are stored on-device in SharedPreferences. They are sent only to their respective services to authenticate your requests.
• Audio recordings — Microphone audio is captured during calls and voice cloning. Call audio is streamed directly to OpenAI for real-time transcription and is not stored on our servers. Voice clone samples are sent to Inworld AI to create a custom voice.
• Conversation data — Transcripts, contacts, memory, and scheduled call data are stored as JSON files on your device.
• Profile information — Your name, gender, and language preferences are stored on-device to personalize AI interactions.

Google Drive Backup

If you opt in, enol can back up your on-device data to Google Drive's app-specific folder using the drive.appdata scope. This folder is private and accessible only by enol. Backups include your settings, contacts, conversations, memory, and schedules. You can sign out at any time to stop backups and revoke access.

Third-Party Services

• OpenAI — Audio and text are sent to OpenAI's API for speech-to-text, text generation, and text-to-speech. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Inworld AI — Voice samples are sent to Inworld for voice cloning. See Inworld's Privacy Policy.
• Google — If you enable backup, Google Drive is used to store backup data. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. enol does not operate any backend servers. No data is collected by the developer. The app does not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

Data Deletion

You can clear your memory from Settings. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To delete your Google Drive backup, sign out from the Backup section in Settings or revoke app access from your Google Account settings.

Children's Privacy

enol is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
